Robert Besermin
What does Bob like best about owning Freestyle Graphics? Well, he loves the people (who he says are just like family. Including the ones that actually are family). Creating original items. And getting stuff done. Oh yeah, and sitting upon his golden throne. Just kidding. The great thing about Bob is that he works just as hard as everyone else (maybe even harder). In fact, most of us around here would say he never stops working. When he does get some well-deserved downtime, you’ll find him spending time with his two kids and wife … traveling, vacationing, or Kansas City sports watching. (Why his dog is named Wrigley, then, we’ll never know. Unless it’s an homage to the gum, not the stadium.)

Collin Besermin
Collin will one day be in charge of Freestyle Graphics. Which means that he has spent a lot of time learning how to do everything in the building (maybe this is what he means when he says he’s a self-proclaimed know-it-all). But his favorite thing is improving the outlook and flow of the company. (Seriously. You should see our flow. It’s amazing.) And here’s something impressive: Collin knows just as much about sports as he does about the company. A huge Chiefs and Cardinals fan, he is a four-time Fantasy Football Champion. That’s, like, four times more than any of the rest of us.

Robin Besermin
Robin is our ‘money lady.’ Which means she deals with numbers and dollars and cents and spreadsheets while everyone else gets to do things with ink and thread. But she loves her job. And her boss. And her co-workers. And we love her right back. When she’s not dealing with money matters, you’ll find her tap dancing or Zumba-ing or traveling to exotic places. She’s also always has an interesting story to tell … which is not surprising, considering she has traveled the world. And done Zumba.

Hollie Ullius
No, not as in right-handed. (Although she is.) As in, “gets s@#t done.” She truly does it all, and has mastered all the departments in the building. (Except signs and art. Her words, not ours. We think she’s good at everything.) She interacts with customers. She interacts with her co-workers. And she makes us all laugh in the process. We can only imagine fun it is for her two girls having Hollie as a mom. But don’t let this tie-dyeing-loving, Deadhead hippy fool you. She is very vocal and to the point, and likes things her way. Which is why we suspect that some day we’re going to have our company picnic at a three-day music festival.

Stephanie Cross
“Custom Content Creator.” “Graphic Guru Go-to.” We could easily have given Stephanie either of those titles, too. Because she loves creating amazing artwork for clients and bringing their ideas to life—from professional business identities to spirited school apparel to family reunion flair. And she does it while wearing Beats headphones at all times (usually playing Rockabilly tunes). But inside this Andy Warhol-loving graphic designer is a roller derby queen dying to get out.

Tim Hilbert
First things first, we’re just going to get this out there. Like pretty much all of his fellow employees, Tim is also a musician. In fact, he used to be a rapper in a funk band. Look for the “Freestyle Graphics” album, coming soon to a store near you. But back to work. Tim loves working with art and colors every day, and he’s the go-to if you need help with a PMS color. He also loves The Beatles, his wife and his two kids. (Not necessarily in that order.)

Brandon Nichols
If you ask Brandon what digitizing embroidery is like, he’ll tell you it’s a lot like a puzzle. He didn’t say what kind of puzzle, exactly, but we’re assuming he doesn’t mean one with pictures of kittens in a basket. Suffice it to say, Brandon likes problem solving. And he’s dang good at it. When he’s not managing our embroidery department, Brandon loves spending time with his two sons. He also likes long walks on the beach and killing zombies (we’re thinking killing zombies on the beach would be the ultimate activity for him). Be warned if you come into FSG for an in-person visit. Brandon is a master scarer and exception rubberband-shooter. Trust us, we know firsthan

Matt Browning
Well, first, let’s just get this out of the way. Matt is yet another musician on our team, and the bass player for a local rock cover band (feel free to submit your requests). But WE think what he rocks at most is creating awesome designs for our products, and building relationships with our clients. Matt loves that Freestyle Graphics is a family-owned business—and he knows a thing or two about family. He’s been married 25 years, and is a proud dad. And we love that Matt is a man of contradictions. He loves to travel, but is a homebody. He’s moody, but playful. He loves Whitesnake and Celine Dion. (Just kidding about that last one.)

Tracy
Tracy loves helping people bring their ideas and visions to life … often on very big signs. But when she’s not doing that job (which she’s very good at, by the way), she’s doing her other job, as a certified scuba instructor. Tracy is also an avid reader … yes, she reads more than signs … and is quite the photographer. But here’s a little-known fact about Tracy: she’s extremely OCD and has to have order or she can’t do her job. Oh, and her nickname is MacGyver. So if you happen to be at our office and need to make something out of a q-tip and a piece of gum, she’s your gal.

Linda Gilmore
If you need promotional items, Linda’s the perfect promotional product person (say that five times fast). During the week, she loves working with customers to find the right items to build their brands. But the weekend is her time to unwind—which means you’ll find her playing golf, cooking or cheering on the Royals and Chiefs. Linda loves telling our younger employees stories about her past … and leaving them wondering how old she is. (We’re thinking not a day over 30.)

Kurt Ullius
Before Kurt came to FSG, he was a carpenter for 25 years. We didn’t even have to twist his arm for him to tell us he likes what he does here a lot better. Kurt’s our resident neat freak and our handyman when things need fixed fast (and correctly). When he’s not making sure everything’s in working order around here, he loves hanging out with his two daughters, camping, fishing and having a good time. So, yeah, he’s our outdoorsy one.

Chris Askew
It’s funny how Chris’ last name is “Askew” when everything he does is always perfect and even and … well, not askew. Chris loves all the mechanics of running the embroidery machine, and the instant gratification of seeing custom products come to life. When he’s not embroidery-machining, Chris is hanging out with his three kids. Or singing. (Hey wait. We’re thinking that Chris and Brian Scofield should start a band. They could name it “The Freestyle Graphics.”) Everyone here knows that you can always go to Chris for a smile. Which is good because smiling’s our favorite.

Brian Scofield
When we asked Brian what he loves most about his job, he said all of his co-workers first and foremost. (Aw, shucks.) But then he also said he equally loves the process of helping our customers’ vision come to fruition. (Go on, say it. Aw, shucks.) When he’s not manually screen printing, he’s playing music. Writing music. Collecting music. And recording what he refers to as “rad sounds.” Brian is known around the office as “a space ranger who gets things done”. In other words, we at the Galactic Alliance of Freestyle Graphics are happy to have him on board.

Joe Monahan
Joe’s an artist whose favorite thing about manual screen printing is the full-color designs. But when he’s not making magic via screens, he’s making music on his bass guitar. (We know what you’re thinking. He needs to join musical forces with Chris and Brian.) Joe has two boys named Davin and Foster … which win the cool kids’ name award … and he’s known around FSG as being likeable and fun. Which we think are pretty much two of the best things to be.
